I've enjoyed all 3 of this author's books, but I think this was the best. It has a good plot and I like the Ontario setting.

I love to read these books as local businesses and places are settings but only folks who know the area would know the real names of these places. The books are a comfortable read and keep your interest. Can't wait for the next book.

tersting plot but this author needs a better editor and a better grip on what it means to develop a charachter through 3 novels. His boring descriptions of the docotor's personal life, some facts completly unexplained [such as how he got the concussion and what happened to his loopy ex-wife] leave the reader dangling while he dwells on the minutiae of his family life. I have read the first 3 novels but I won't bother to pick up the next. On the positive side, the author does pitch the explanations of medical/ public health issues to the common reader, easy to understand without undue jargon.
