Mike Banning: You're going to seriously try to rope-a-dope me? That's an old man's move.
President Benjamin Asher: I am an old man.
Mike Banning: No, you're not. But you box like one.
Mike Banning (walking out of the White House, ravaged by the defeated warmonger Kang and his terrorists, with The President): "Sorry about the house, sir." President Benjamin Asher: "It's okay. I believe it's insured."

Add a CommentCool action movie!
Basic action flick - not much more, but entertaining, not boring. Some North Koreans invade the Whitehouse, kidnap the President and wipe out a lot of Washington D.C. (they made it look so easy). Secret Service guy (Gerard Butler) ex-Special Forces background must save the day, save the President and save the U.S.A. Fast moving, quite bloody and violent. Appears to be a continuing saga - next reincarnation London Has Fallen is also on DVD.
So similar to Whitehouse Down.
It was like seeing the same movie with different characters.
A real stinker!
Decent action flick - a few plot holes/unbelievable, but kept me on the edge of my seat!
Don't tell anybody i watched this ok? My testosterone needed feeding; it broke down my resistance.
It was as bad as it looked [Americanman saves the day! Again.]. Violence porn.
The usual plot holes too. [Evil terrorists need presidents son but spray machine gun fire into his hiding place?!]
Zzzzzzzzzzz
I heard that China owns Hollywood aka tells them what they can and cannot release, which is why this brutally violent action/adventure celluloid was censored politically. This is a shame, but then and again, the majority of USA citizens don't care about how their being extremely brainwashed 24/7,365 politically.
Great Movie, cant wait until the second movie, "London Has Fallen"
It was fun to watch, and I am going to pretend it couldn't happen even though it could. I enjoyed the action and watching things blow up.
