The most intimate and revealing memoir yet from the extraordinary woman whose energy, drive, and talent are legendary. In her astonishingly frank, often funny, and always fascinating way, MacLaine writes of the powerful familial forces that propelled her to stardom, her sometimes difficult relationship with her daughter Sachi, and her friendships with Debbie Reynolds, Grace Kelly, Dean Martin, Elizabeth Taylor, and other Hollywood greats. 32 pages of photographs.

Shirley MacLaine, excellent biography! The blue card, cracks me up, peeing in the cup at the clinic, so funny! Great doctor to help her out through all that mess and blood work. I go through the same all the time at the health clinics, it's a mess sometimes.

The beginning of the book, the first day, the throwing up, and becoming acclaimed in the industry is a pivot perspective well drawn together, factual, and the opportunity to dance and sing on the stage, holding the mike and dancing, and then attaching it to your body. What draws us and what God unfolds in our lives, it's beautiful, reverence, indeed.

What really caught me is the character Aurora, it was the first movie I had remembered seeing, with Shirley MacLaine. I was 16 years old at the time. I saw it again many year later, then Evening Star. These are some of my favorite movies! I was blessed to discover that Shirley relates well to the character she played to her true self.

I was relating to a family death, so the movie helped to draw some good points, strength and why it is important to respect the memory of others.

Relating and unfolding the truth, the purpose, and life of meaning. It is precious!

Thank you Miss Shirley.

Indeed, our time is worthy.
