A prize giant zucchini is missing!
When the Monroe Detective Agency is asked by Zeeta and Zelda Zamboni to find their huge zucchini in time to enter it in the annual Harvest Fair, Max and his Uncle Larry (a ghost) spring into action.
As they dig for clues, Max and Uncle Larry discover that the Zamboni sisters have some very interesting (and highly suspicious) neighbours!
Young readers will enjoy using their observation skills in this amusing story, which provides a clever introduction (complete with many puns) to the mystery genre.
This book is the second story in the “Ghost and Max Monroe” series. ** Recommended for ages 6 to 9 years.

This is such a good children's series. In these chapter books, a young boy partner's with his ghost uncle (who was a failing detective while alive) to run his deceased uncle's private detective agency. My 6-year-old granddaughter is excited to read the next in the series. We highly recommend it!
