I loved listening to this book. Steven Rowley captured what it is like to have a dog. And not only that but the heartache that you go through at the end of their life-- when is it the right time to let them go. It made me laugh (Michael Urie can really speak Dachshund) and it made me cry, and it made me feel lucky to have had the great pets that I had.

Make sure you have tissues nearby as you listen to Ted and Lily walk down a path neither of them wants to be on. Fantastic narration by Michael Urie, who speaks perfect dachshund.
