“Rachel: You're a half-blood, too?
Annabeth: Shhh! Just announce it to the world, how about?
Rachel: Okay. Hey, everybody! These two aren't human! They're half Greek god!...They don't seem to care.”
“You are okay?" he asked. "Not eaten by monsters?"
"Not even a little bit." I showed him that I still had both arms and both legs, and Tyson clapped happily.
"Yay!" he said. "Now we can eat peanut butter sandwiches and ride fish ponies! We can fight monsters and see Annabeth and make things go BOOM!"
I hoped he didn't mean all at the same time, but I told him absolutely, we'd have a lot of fun this summer.”
“I nodded, looking at Rachel with respect. "You hit the Lord of the Titans in the eye with a blue plastic hairbrush.”

“Monkey bar," Annabeth said. "I'm great at these." She leaped onto to the first rung and start swinging her way across. She was scared of tiny spiders, but not of plummeting to her death from a set of monkey bars. Go figure.”
“Getting something and having the wits to use it...those are two different things.”
“New lesson, class. Most monsters will vaporize when sliced with a celestial bronze sword. This change is perfectly normal, and will happen to you right now if you don't BACK OFF!" - Percy”

Comment
Add a CommentI have to say... the chapter titles are the best in this book. to me they seem funnier than the other book's chapter titles.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUUNNNNNNNNNNNYYYYYY
its OK but the titans curse is better ;)
This book is awesome!!! I recomend this book for people age 7-20. Great family read.
The funny and adventurous book starts when demon cheerleaders attack Percy's school. he then flees to camp half blood, and goes on a quest led by Annabeth into the Labyrinth, where he needs to stop Kronos' army from making camp half blood. I would recommend this book for ages 10-16, because there is some gore, and lots of action, and some older people may find it boring. Overall, I really enjoyed the book.
this was an awesome book i loved it and can't wait to finish this sires and i can't wait to find out which girl percy ends up with my opinion is its Rachel. because Annabeth will be with luke when Kronos is defeated.
Percy Jackson is about the Greek gods. The labyrinth is a huge maze full of Greek monsters such as Ampusas and Hell Hounds. Minor gods also appear and lots of half bloods. Review by Amica.
I love this series' this is my third time reading it. P.S. to JihadiConservative go to Tartarus this is a awesome book and if you don't like it you can go to hell.
Always growing, underneath the ground, always changing, where time is confusing. The Labrinyth, a maze with a mind of it's own, created by a famous inventor named Daedalus. Percy, Annabeth, Tyson, and Grover must try to slow down the army of monsters headed for their camp, while the camp makes battle preparations.

Of all the books in the Percy Jackson series, this may be one of the top picks I choose to go back and reread once every so often. I personally believe that if I were to be a demigod, I would like to be a child of Athena. That is probably why this book calls to me, as Annabeth and her actions call to me. Who can resist a good mystery and puzzle (labyrinth)? This book, while being greatly written as it's own story, also makes a great stepping stone for the final book, The Last Olympian. The drama, intensity, and suspense just keeps building up!

I can honestly say that the series just keeps getting better and better after reading “The Battle of the Labyrinth”. “The Battle of the Labyrinth” was action packed and fast-paced so I never got bored reading it. Percy must save Camp-Half Blood once again. In order to do this, he gets some help from his friends and they head out on a quest in the Labyrinth. “The Battle of the Labyrinth” is filled with adventure, mystery, fantasy, and Greek mythology. Since Rick Riordan changed up the setting and made the book mostly take place in the Labyrinth, it sparked an interest in me. The plot was outstanding and the ending was what really made this book over the top. I would recommend read this book for ages 8+.

The Battle of the Labyrinth is an action packed novel based on Percy Jackson and his crew of familiar demigods. We have seen Camp Half Blood many times in the past, but now in a different light. The entire camp is bracing for an attack by former camper Luke Castellan and his army of monsters. Everything is mysterious and hidden from Percy when he arrives at camp this summer, but when he stumbles upon an opening to the Labyrinth during a game of deadly Capture The Flag. Suddenly Percy realizes the importance and power of the underground Labyrinth that could transport the entirety of Luke’s army straight into Camp Half Blood; if they can navigate through the dangers within. With the help of Chiron, Annabeth, Clarisse and other demigods, Percy realizes he must track down Daedalus in the Labyrinth to convince him to not help Luke’s army. There is so much in the book, from Calypso’s island to the heart of the Labyrinth that the four (Percy, Annabeth, Grover and Tyson) cover that it is one of my favourites of the series. Rating 5/5
