Rizvi offers new and refreshing insights into why a person leaves Islam and becomes an atheist. He is strong in his defense, yet very appealing and non-offensive in his writing style. His strong interest in science adds to his viewpoints. I am glad to see a younger generation of people from Middle Eastern countries now speaking out about Islam and their cultural taboos. These are the voices we need to hear more from, and not just from western writers/intellectuals who are not directed associated with Islam.

I also recommend following Hamed Abdel-Samad - his book Islamic Fascism, his Youtube Box of Islam channel, and other Youtube and internet postings. Most of his talks are in Arabic or German, but you can still find valuable postings in English
