For the Hempstead sisters and their daughters, summers spent together at the house on Lake Waseka were magical, until an accidental drowning tore the family apart. A very touching story. I love the way she writes about family and women's lives. It is a very satisfying story.

Robyn never fails to draw you in to the storyline allowing you to feel the characters emotions. This is a wonderful story of life and death, of the complexities of family relationships and our insecurities as individuals. I would give it six stars if I could. She is one of a handful of authors that I always read and look forward to her next novel.
