As a fan of novels written in verse, I just had to pick up Sarah Crossan's new book, We Come Apart. A young girl with a chip on her shoulder and hiding a family secret is sentenced to community service and ends up meeting a Romanian immigrant boy. At first they don't mesh well, but as the story goes on they come to and understanding and grow closer. The ending caught me by surprise and has certainly kept me thinking about this book even though I finished it awhile ago.
