The Wonderful JourneyBook - 1999
'You can travel anytime you want, anywhere you wish. ' Gran is telling Sam that the time has comefor her to fly home. Saddened, he thinks he will no longer share their special stories. Grandma then begins her final and best story. Inspired by the old steam train they visit on their walks, she takes him on a journey through all the fabulous places she has known. They become flamingos, flying across the African skies; they rest in a vast lake; they watch a pride of lions resting at the foot of a mountain. In this way, this shows him how he can use his imagination to create stories for himself, to travel and to always be near her.
