Excellent work written within a political and religious framework. Central to the story is the current situation in Tibet, trapped by their Chinese occupiers. Many references to Buddhism and Tibetan culture.

This is a slow read so far. No rating yet.

As the book was due, I returned it without finishing it. Too many characters with foreign names - hard to keep track.
