I did not care for this storyline told from the wife's perspective. I kept waiting for references to something Shakespearean that I could related to from my knowledge of the playwright. Though it relates the tale through the eyes of the neglected wife I felt no sympathy for either husband or wife and found I cared little for the characters. I would not recommend this book as I tended to breeze through the pages skipping over parts. How much is fact and how much is fiction is still a question mark for me.
