I very much enjoyed this book. The author is quite introspective and has neat reflections on travel and tourism. There are some interesting perspectives on little-travelled regions and she doesn't try to glamourise her trip at all. The end was a bit abrupt though, and it felt like it lacked a conclusion, probably because she had such a rough time in Vietnam.
