In response to numerous requests for vegetarian ideas from her wealth of followers, Delia Smith has made a selection of her very best recipes to put into one diverse collection. Vegetarian food, in recent years, has become much more integrated into mainstream cooking and plays an increasingly important role in many people's lives. Delia finds vegetarian cooking a rewarding challenge and her books have always included a selection of vegetarian dishes, but now she has also added new recipes to reflect changes in modern-day cooking. This is a book not only for those who don't eat meat or fish, or who enjoy occasional non-meat or non-fish meals, but also for those who find themselves catering to vegetarians. In her Vegetarian Collection, Delia shares quick recipes for cooking when time is of the essence, as well as inspirational recipes for entertaining. There are ideas for soups, starters and salads, as well as egg recipes, dishes with cheese, breads, pizzas, baking, puddings, to name but a few. Beautifully illustrated with colour photographs, the book contains over 250 recipes. Devotees of Delia's books and new fans alike will want to add this one to their bookshelves.

Not a bad cookbook, a little fancy for me. Good for entertaining and for special occassions though. A whole section devoted to cheese, how could you go wrong? I certainly think it should be a food group :)
